The last few weeks in the belly!!

I haven't posted in 3 months and thought I'd update everyone and also close our pregnancy journey!
The last few weeks of my pregnancy were very uncomfortable. My belly grew so much and it became so uncomfortable (sit/walk/sleep/stand). It seriously felt like she was going to pop out of all the pressure I had down there. At 39 weeks I started a horrible rash which turned out to be PUPPS. I had this until delivery and I can honestly say it was the worst week of my life. The rash started on my belly and spread everywhere. Back, hips, thighs, arms, shoulders, legs! I wasn't able to take any medicine so the only thing that I was able to do was take oatmeal baths. Michael was awesome. He had to deal with my extra moodiness, discomfort, sleepless nights, etc! I love him to death!!

My total weight gain was 41lbs.

Baby G would not come so doctors decided to induce me at 40weeks5days! I was a bit nervous but super excited to meet our baby girl. I tried everything possible to go into labor naturally but nothing seemed to work. I went into the hospital Monday March 7th in the AM and Sophie Alessia was born at 10:33pm (cesarean). Her last ultrasound estimated she would weigh 9.5lbs and sure enough she was born weighing 9.4lbs. Pretty Accurate!! Recovery was not easy but she is now 2 months and Michael and I have never been so happy!! We love this girl so much, words can't express how blessed we feel.

Here is my last belly bump photo taken at 39w5d and a few pics at the hospital. Excuse my hot messy look! :)

And a picture of her now at 2 months!! Boy do they grow up fast!
Thank you all for following this amazing journey with us! I loved being pregnant and really miss having her in my belly but I'm so HAPPY that she is here and we were blessed to be her parents!

Belly Bump @ 36 Weeks

We  are only 3 1/2 weeks away from meeting Baby G!
I'm starting to feel like i'm either in denial that it's happening soon or procastinating on getting things done.

My Body:
My body feels extremely different. I feel like i'm carrying a very heavy bowling ball everywhere I go. My sleep is very different. We think she positions herself at night in a way that is very painful for me to sleep in. The pressure "down there" has started and it is starting to make me think that I am dialating (i'll find out for sure in 2 days). My hands/feet swell up in the mornings and nights so I have to constantly keep my feet elevated. I sure do miss wearing my "regular" shoes. :(
Emotions:
What I can say? I've never been so emotional in my life. Everything and anything makes me cry. Michael is mainly the one who sees this side of me but boy are these hormones taking over.
Excitement:
We are very much excited to meet our little girl. There's still so much to do but I know everything will fall into place. All we care about is that we have a safe/healthy delivery. We are moving in the next few days so I can't wait to start/finish her nursery. I knew exactly how I wanted her nursery since I was about 4-5 months so I can't wait to put everything together. It's going to look amazing!
Belly Bump:
Here is my belly bump at 36 weeks, 3 days. I wore less clothing so you can all see my BIG belly. :)

Baby Bump @ 32 Weeks

Wow, time is seriously going by so fast! We've had a busy last few weeks with the holidays and Michael and I getting married. :) I am 33 weeks today so 7 more to go. Sitting for long periods is getting harder and sleeping is really uncomfortable. Sleeping on my right side is painful, on my back is now allowed and on my left side numbs my arm. :( Trips to the bathroom have increased. She is already really low so my bladder is not very happy. Although I haven't gained weight in the last 2 weeks, I  feel so much bigger! I get so nervous every time I get weighed at the docs office.  We had an ultrasound done yesterday and Baby G is looking good and BIG. Can't wait to meet our little girl. Here is my bump at 32 weeks:
